Electrical Works at Girls Learning Center

Location: Prithivinagar, Devchuli-10, Nawalparasi Bardhaghat Susta East

Background

Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (Jcycn) have been actively working to empower
adolescents and youth, particularly girls, and to promote their rights through advocacy, leadership
development, and community engagement. Under its Girls Learning Center Program, Jcycn is
working on electrical installation works for the Girls Learning Center in Devchuli 10, Nawalparasi
Bardhaghat Susta East. The second phase (first package) of electrical works includes the supply,
installation, testing, and commissioning of LT panels, distribution boards, cabling, and electrical
outlets with the support of KANALLAN. To ensure effective and standardized work, Jcycn seeks
to hire a qualified vendor for the electrical work of the Girls Learning Centre.

Objective

The objective of this assignment is to ensure safe, efficient, and standard-compliant electrical
installation in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and relevant IS/IEC standards.

Scope of Work

The contractor shall be responsible for:

LT Panel Installation

• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Main Distribution Panel (MDP)
• Installation of MCCB, MCB, SPD, protection relays, metering units, and accessories

Distribution Boards

• Installation of UPS Distribution Box (UPS-DB)
• Installation of DBs for Admin (Ground Floor & First Floor) and Hall (Ground Floor &
  First Floor)

Cabling Works

• Supply and laying of LT feeder cables (various sizes)
• Earthing and cable management including trenching, clamping, and identification

Electrical Outlets

• Installation of power sockets (6A, 16A, 20A) with switches
• Weatherproof and IP-rated outlets where required

Testing & Commissioning

• Complete system testing, inspection, and commissioning
• Submission of test reports and as-built drawings

Standards

All works shall comply with:

• As per NBC-207 and NBC 2016 (India)

Deliverables

• Installed and operational electrical system
• As-built drawings and documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered firm/company with relevant experience in electrical work
• Experience in similar projects
• Availability of qualified technical personnel

Timeline and Budget

• The work shall be completed within the timeline agreed upon in the contract, with a
  maximum estimated cost of twenty lakh, including VAT.

Submission Requirements

Interested individuals or firms are requested to submit:

• Copy of PAN/VAT registration
• Copy of Tax Clearance of FY 2081/82
• Copy of Company Registration
• Financial proposal as per shared BOQ

Payment Terms

Payments shall be made based on work progress, verified measurements, and submission of
invoices as per the contract agreement.
