Interior Construction of Podcast and Music Studio Hall

Location: Prithivinagar, Devchuli-10, Nawalparasi Bardhaghat Susta East

Background

Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (Jcycn) have been actively working to empower adolescents and youth, particularly girls, and to promote their rights through advocacy, leadership development, and community engagement. Under its Girls Learning Center Program, Jcycn is working on electrical installation works for the Girls Learning Center in Devchuli 10, Nawalparasi Bardhaghat Susta East. The work includes interior construction of the Podcast and Music Studio Hall at the Girls Learning Centre. With support from The Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation, Jcycn seeks to engage a qualified supplier/service provider in accordance with approved specifications and industry standards.

Objective

The objective is to complete the required interior and HVAC works with good quality, proper workmanship, and in accordance with the approved design and technical specifications.

Scope of Work

The contractor shall supply, install, test and commission the following:

A. Acoustic Gypsum Board Partition:

• 12.5 mm acoustic gypsum plasterboard fixed to galvanized steel LGS framing, including screws, joint tape, corner beads, cutting, fitting, joint treatment and smooth finishing.
• • Preferred brands: Gyproc, Knauf, USG Boral, Europa or equivalent.

B. Outer Wall Gypsum Board:

• 12.5 mm acoustic gypsum plasterboard fixed to galvanized steel LGS framing, including all jointing, finishing and necessary accessories.
• Preferred brands: Gyproc, Knauf, USG Boral, Europa or equivalent.

C. UPVC Doors:

• UPVC doors with galvanized steel reinforcement, double-glazed glass, locks, handles, sealants and all necessary hardware and accessories. •
• Preferred brands: Zonaki, Dmex, Viko, Simta, Astrix, Conch or equivalent.

D. Rockwool Acoustic Insulation:

• 50 mm thick acoustic-grade Rockwool insulation of suitable density, tightly fitted within the LGS framing cavity.
• Preferred brands: Knauf, Saint-Gobain or equivalent

E. Interior Painting:

• Surface preparation, sanding, gypsum-board jointing/putty, one coat of primer and two coats of premium-quality acrylic emulsion paint, including all labour and materials.
• Preferred brands: Asian Paints, Berger, KNP, Nippon or equivalent.

F. Air-Conditioning:

• Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2.0 TR inverter-type ceiling cassette AC units, including indoor/outdoor units, copper refrigerant piping, insulation, drain piping, electrical connections, supports, vibration isolators, controls, refrigerant charging and all necessary accessories.
• Preferred brands: Midea, Gree, Haier, LG or equivalent

G. General Requirements

• All materials shall be new and of approved quality.
• The contractor shall verify site measurements before installation.
• All works shall comply with approved drawings, specifications and Engineer’s instructions.
• The contractor shall provide all labour, tools, equipment, transportation and accessories required for completion.
• The contractor shall maintain proper safety and cleanliness at the site.
• Any defective or damaged work shall be rectified by the contractor at no additional cost.

H. Warranty

• All supplied fixtures, equipment and completed works shall carry a minimum two (2) years warranty from the date of installation and acceptance, unless a longer manufacturer’s warranty is applicable.

6. Completion and Handover

• The contractor shall complete the work within the agreed timeframe and shall carry out all necessary testing, commissioning, inspection and rectification before final handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered firm/company with relevant experience in electrical work
• Experience in similar projects
• Availability of qualified technical personnel

Timeline and Budget 

• The work shall be completed within the timeline agreed upon in the contract, with a maximum estimated cost of Twenty Lakh, including VAT.

Submission Requirements

• Interested individuals or firms are requested to submit:
• Copy of PAN/VAT registration • Recent Copy of Tax Clearance
• Copy of Company Registration • Financial proposal as per shared BOQ

Payment Terms

Payments shall be made based on work progress, verified measurements, and submission of invoices as per the contract agreement.
