Electrical Works at Girls Learning Center

Location: Prithivinagar, Devchuli-10, Nawalparasi Bardhaghat Susta East

Background

Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (Jcycn) have been actively working to empower
adolescents and youth, particularly girls, and to promote their rights through advocacy, leadership
development, and community engagement. Under its Girls Learning Center Program, Jcycn is
working on electrical installation works for the Girls Learning Center in Devchuli 10, Nawalparasi
Bardhaghat Susta East. The second phase (Second package) of electrical works includes ensuring
a safe, functional, and conducive learning environment. Jcycn intends to undertake electrical,
lighting, networking, ventilation, ceiling fan installation, and earthing protection works at the Girls
Learning Centre. With support from KANALLAN, Jcycn seeks to engage a qualified
supplier/service provider for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of these systems
in accordance with approved specifications and industry standards.

Objective

The objective of this assignment is to provide a complete, safe, energy-efficient, and standardscompliant electrical lighting, networking, ventilation, and earthing system for the Girls Learning
Centre.

Scope of Work

The contractor/supplier shall be responsible for the supply, installation, testing, and
commissioning of the following works:
A. Lighting Fixtures and Electrical Accessories

• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of LED Deep COB Circular Down
  Lights (9W).
• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of LED Deep Trim Circular Down
  Lights (12W).
• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of LED Panel Lights (1 ft × 1 ft).
• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Linear LED Lights.
• Supply and installation of Hanging/Pendant Decorative Lights.
• Supply and installation of Track Lighting Systems complete with tracks, drivers, connectors, jointers, hanging accessories, and adjustable/fixed spotlights.
• Supply and installation of Mirror Lights.
• All lighting fixtures shall include all necessary mounting accessories, wiring, supports,and testing for complete operation.

B. Ventilation and Ceiling Fans

• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of ceiling-mounted exhaust fans
  complete with PVC ducting, louvers, dampers, connectors, bends, regulators, and all
  required accessories.
• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of energy-efficient ceiling fans complete
  with regulators/dimmers, mounting accessories, and all necessary fittings.

C. Networking System:

• Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 12U Network Rack(s) complete with
  Power Distribution Unit (PDU), cooling fans, patch panels, cable management, labeling,
  and accessories.
• Supply and installation of Layer-2 managed network switches, PoE switches, Wi-Fi 6
  Access Points, CAT-6A structured cabling, conduits, and cable termination accessories

D. Testing and Commissioning

• Testing and commissioning of all installed lighting fixtures, ventilation equipment,
  networking systems.
• Rectification of all defects identified during inspection and testing.
• Submission of test reports, operation manuals, warranties, and as-built documentation.
• Final commissioning, client inspection, and handover of the electrical and networking
  systems.

Standards
All works shall comply with:

• As per NBC-207, NBC 2026 (India) and as per Engineer/Consultant instruction at site.

Deliverables

• Fully installed and operational electrical lighting system
• Functional networking infrastructure
• Testing and commissioning reports (where applicable)
• Warranty for supplied equipment
• Manufacture’s Installation Procedure documentation and operation manuals (where
  applicable)

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered firm/company with relevant experience in electrical work
• Experience in similar projects
• Availability of qualified technical personnel

Timeline and Budget

• The work shall be completed within the timeline agreed upon in the contract, with a
  maximum estimated cost of Twenty Lakh, including VAT.

Submission Requirements

Interested individuals or firms are requested to submit:

• Copy of PAN/VAT registration
• Recent Copy of Tax Clearance
• Copy of Company Registration
• Financial proposal as per shared BOQ

Payment Terms

Payments shall be made based on work progress, verified measurements, and submission of
invoices as per the contract agreement.
